About this app

Color Toolkit is an all-in-one color picker, palette generator, color converter and gradient maker for designers, developers, artists and creators. Pick colors from images or your screen, build harmonious combinations, check accessibility and save your favorites—all on your device.

Pick colors from images and your screen

Use the Image Color Picker to select precise colors from photos, illustrations and screenshots. A magnified preview helps you target individual pixels while displaying the color name, HEX, RGB and HSL values.

The floating Screen Color Picker lets you sample and copy colors while viewing other apps, websites and interfaces.

  • Pick colors from any image
  • Select pixels with a magnified preview
  • Pick colors with a floating screen tool
  • Collect multiple swatches from an image
  • Copy, save or inspect colors
  • Find the closest common color name

Extract and generate palettes

Extract dominant colors from photos and artwork to create reusable palettes. Choose the palette size, copy individual colors or the complete palette, save it locally or share it.

Generate coordinated schemes from any base color using monochromatic, analogous, complementary, triadic, tetradic and split-complementary harmony modes. Randomize colors for inspiration and explore combinations for brands, app themes, websites and illustrations.

Create shades, tints and color mixes

Generate lighter tints, darker shades and balanced tones from any color. Mix colors and adjust the blend ratio to create custom results. Copy generated values or save useful colors.

Build custom gradients

Create linear, radial and conic gradients with custom color stops, angles and positions. Start with a built-in preset or create your own.

  • Multiple customizable color stops
  • Adjustable angles and positions
  • Linear, radial and conic styles
  • CSS gradient code
  • Jetpack Compose gradient code
  • Copy, save and share options

Convert color codes

Convert between HEX, RGB, RGBA, HSL, HSV/HSB and CMYK. Select a color once to view every supported format. Copy one value or share all formats together.

Check contrast and accessibility

Compare foreground and background colors, calculate their contrast ratio and check WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA contrast criteria. Preview text, controls and interface elements to evaluate readability before using the colors in your design.

Simulate color-vision deficiencies

Preview palettes, photos and interface colors through simulations of common color-vision deficiencies. Compare original and simulated results to find combinations that may be difficult to distinguish.

Simulations include common red-green and blue-yellow deficiencies, plus monochromacy previews. They are intended for design evaluation and accessibility awareness, not medical diagnosis.

Save your work

Keep colors, palettes and gradients in your local library. Return to saved items whenever needed to copy their values or share them.

Private and offline-first

Color processing takes place on your device. No account is required. Selected images and captured screen frames are processed locally and are not uploaded. Saved colors, palettes and gradients remain in local storage.

Create, inspect and reuse colors confidently with one practical toolkit.
